SPECIALISED BODY TREATMENTS

Carboxy scalp mesotherapy

Mesotherapy for Hair is an alternative treatment that helps treat baldness in both males and females by promoting hair regrowth. It regulates the growth factors, proteins, and vitamins in the scalp of the Alopecia patients. The therapy is undoubtedly a quick way to help restore the lost hair by restoring the hormonal balance and subdue the effects of DHT hormones.
Hair Mesotherapy is suitable for:
  • Hair Restoration
  • Hair Regrowth
  • Hair Transplant
This is an innovative formula injected by our medical practitioner around the hair follicle to nurture regrowth so it:
  • Grows hair follicles
  • Neutralises the excess of DHT hormone
  • Stimulates the blood circulation
This is done by injecting nutrient boosters in the scalp with the help of an injection gun to aid in the nourishing and hydrating of the scalp. It is a pain-free procedure. Mesotherapy not only works from within, but also initiates natural healing processes as a result of hundreds of micro perforations from each tiny injection into the skin. Levels of collagen and elastin are consequently boosted, two of the essential proteins for healthy skin.

Mesotherapy is suitable for treating skin all over the body, including the scalp. Dr Eirald will be able to determine whether this would be the right treatment for your hair thinning or hair loss after an in-depth consultation and assessment of the target area.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM MESOTHERAPY?
The stimulation of natural hair growth is almost guaranteed with this treatment. You can see results after just one treatment, but a course of up to 3 treatments at regular intervals is recommended for best results, with a few annual top-up treatments required for maintenance purposes.

P Shot

What is the P-Shot?
The P-Shot — officially known as the Priapus Shot — is a regenerative injection designed to combat sexual dysfunction. The shot harnesses the power of platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The PRP is derived from your own blood, and it’s rich in growth factors. As a result, it helps promote:

  • Increased circulation to the penis
  • Improved sexual experience
  • Enhanced sexual stamina
  • Boost in erectile firmness
  • Straighter, more aesthetic erections
  • Bonus: The P-Shot even helps alleviate incontinence.

Benefits of the P-Shot
Before you receive your P-Shot, you’ll first need to give a blood sample. This is what will be used to create your PRP injection. Once the P-Shot is prepared, the desired area on your penis will be numbed, and then the injection administered. The P-Shot can improve the look and function of your erection, but there are other reasons to choose the P-Shot to combat erectile dysfunction.
Noninvasive treatment with no downtime
After your shot, you’re free to go on with your daily activities. There is no downtime required. You can even engage in sexual intercourse the same day as your shot!
Virtually free from side-effects
The P-Shot is derived from your own blood, which means there are no synthetic ingredients in the injection. This also means the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is incredibly low.
Medication-free treatment The P-Shot isn’t the only procedure designed to combat erectile dysfunction. There are many medications available to improve erection strength and stamina, but the P-Shot is not a medication — the P-Shot doesn’t carry the same risk of side effects medications do.

V Shot

What is V-SHOT

The orgasm shot, commonly known as the V-Shot, uses your own natural healing abilities to enhance your sexual wellness and vaginal health. Through the use of PRP, or platelet rich plasma, areas such as the clitoris and vagina can be treated, and healing can be stimulated.

THE BENEFITS OF THE V-SHOT
There are numerous benefits that come with having the V-Shot treatment, as your own body’s ability to heal is boosted and those effects are seen in your overall vaginal health. Since the platelet rich plasma is from your own body there is no chance of adverse or allergic reactions to the PRP itself, with no risk of complications.
Some of the benefits include:

  • Greater pleasure and sensation
  • Enhanced overall sexual function
  • Enhanced ability to orgasm
  • Tighter and healthier vagina
  • Reduced pain or discomfort during intercourse
  • Increases the vagina’s lubrication
  • Reduced incontinence
  • Eases certain skin conditions such as
  • Lichen Sclerosus
  • Non-surgical and natural healing and repair
  • No recovery time associated with the V-Shot

HOW DOES THE V-SHOT WORK?
The V-Shot is non-surgical and involves nothing beyond what your own body has to provide. The V-Shot works by using platelet rich plasma that is taken from a small sample of your blood. This platelet rich plasma is then concentrated so that the highest quantity of platelets and growth factors can be injected into the treatment areas such as around your clitoris and vagina. These growth factors in the PRP will boost your natural healing processes and cause the treated areas to naturally rejuvenate.

THE PROCESS
First, a small sample of blood will be drawn from your arm. This sample will be placed in a centrifuge which will separate out into different layers, one of which is the platelet rich plasma. This platelet rich plasma is then concentrated and prepared by one of our medical team into a solution for injection into the treatment areas. The treatment areas will receive a local anesthetic prior to the injections so that any potential discomfort is minimized. The procedure generally takes between half an hour to an hour and you can expect to return to your routine as normal directly afterwards. You may be advised to avoid aspirin or some anti-inflammatory drugs leading up to and for a short period after treatment as they may interfere with the platelets.

IS THE V-SHOT PAINFUL?
The V-Shot is not painful as anesthetics are used to minimize any potential pain and discomfort that you might otherwise experience. The area may be tender afterwards and there may be some bruising or swelling around the injection sites, but this should fade within the first few days

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
The results can potentially last up to 18 months, and some results are noticeable directly after treatment. Over the following weeks and months, you will notice that your vaginal health is better and that your sexual wellness, including your sensitivity and ability to orgasm is heightened. You may notice that your vagina has become more comfortable and that dryness issues are abating. The skin and tissues around and within the vagina will feel and look healthier and firmer and you may notice any incontinence issues reducing as well.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A V-SHOT?
Most women that are seeking help with their sex lives, their vaginal health, or incontinence or vaginal tissue or skin issues can find it with the V-Shot. Good candidates are those that do not need to be on or can stop taking aspirin or certain anti-inflammatory medications. Women who are experiencing any of the following or more could be candidates for a V-Shot: Reduced vaginal sensation or ability to experience sexual stimulation Incontinence or leaking from activities such as jumping or running Intercourse that is painful due to issues such as dryness Skin conditions such as Lichen Sclerosus

Botox For Sweat

At Skin Truth we are able to GUARANTEE the stopping of sweating with BOTOX®️ injections for at least 5 months in the underarm and hand area.

It takes about 10 minutes, is painless and you carry on your normal life without the worry of sweating.

If you are considering having the treatment don’t be put off by the fact that these are injections. We use special numbing cream and tiny acupuncture sized needles that mean you hardly feel anything. The whole treatment takes less than 10 minutes and will give you back the confidence to wear whatever you want and not to worry about the next damp patch.

Patients often tell us that the damp or wet areas in the underarm area are not offensive smelling but just embarrassing and get worse when they think about it or are anxious. It can lead to lack confidence at work, when wearing certain light coloured clothes as well as worrying about what their partners or friends think.

Most people have already tried the strong deodorants, arm pads and a variety of other remedies with little or no effect.

The effect of Botox is nothing less that extraordinary as it targets just the specific sweat gland in the underarm / armpit areas. Patients lives are changed once they have tried this treatment as they can resume a normal life without having to worry about sweating and being embarrassed.

Treatment is available at our Lynnwood clinic and only use expert doctors for Botox treatments.

Back Deep Cleaning

A back facial is a treatment that consists of deep cleansing, exfoliation, and extractions. It is performed on your back. In a back facial, your esthetician will use exfoliants and possibly steam to exfoliate and clean your skin before extracting oil and debris. The treatment ends with a mask for hydration. Back facials are, for the most part, a painless extraction process. The facial typically begins with a gentle steaming to open pores and lift impurities, followed by a deep cleansing and exfoliation. The facial for back concludes with a therapeutic mask.

Why get a back facial?
Back facials can be beneficial in cleansing those tough-to-reach spots, targeting a variety of skincare needs such as clogged pores, back acne, and dehydrated skin. This treatment mimics many of the traditional techniques used while performing treatments for the face. It incorporates deep cleansing, extractions, and purifying masks. Back facials are particularly fitting treatments during bathing suit season or for people who wear low-back attire.

The intimate peel effectively treats hyperpigmentation on the private body parts of both men and women. It can be used from the pubic area around to the anal area on women and from the groin to the anal area on men. As well as improving pigmentation, the Intimate Peel also works to rejuvenate and brighten the skin similar to the results of a facial skin peel.

PRP for hair loss

Platelet Rich Plasma injections a.k.a. PRP injections are an emerging modality for promoting new hair growth and increasing hair thickness in male and female patients with hair loss.
What are PRP injections and how do they work?
PRP or platelet rich plasma injections are an in office procedure that leverages growth factors released from platelets in your own blood to stimulate hair follicle activity and promote new hair growth. A small vial of blood is taken from a vein in your arm and processed to increase the concentration of platelets in a fraction of plasma. This platelet rich plasma is then injected into the scalp in areas of hair thinning.
Can PRP treatments be combined with other treatments for hair thinning and hair loss?
PRP injections are often combined with other treatments for hair thinning and loss including hair growth supplements, topical OTC treatments such as Rogaine and/or oral prescription medications to promote hair regrowth such as Propecia.
Is there any downtime or side effects associated with PRP injections for hair loss or thinning?
There is generally minimal downtime associated with PRP injections. Some potential side effects include bruising, soreness, headache or temporary swelling of scalp and forehead.
How many treatments are recommended?
While the number of treatments may vary depending on individual factors, an initial series of treatments is usually recommended at monthly intervals for three months followed by maintenance injections every six to twelve months. Patients usually notice results within two to three months.
Are there any pre or post treatment precautions?
You should not take aspirin, Aleve, Advil, Motrin or any prescription anti-inflammatory medication for one week prior to treatment since these medications reduce inflammation which may lessen your results. Cigarette smoking at any time will also diminish results. Following treatment you should not apply keratin hair fibers to your scalp or color or cut your hair for three days
Are there any contraindications to PRP scalp injections ?
PRP is not recommended for advanced hair loss or hair loss associated with scarring. You should also not have PRP injections if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a platelet or blood disorder or are taking immunosuppressive medications such as corticosteroids, or biologic medications.
