Glow like you mean it

We assist our client’s need to medically prolong the aging process and preserve their current appearance, further assisting clients with resolving skin-related concern

The Vampire Facial is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure involving the application of a gel-like substance called platelet rich plasma–derived from a patient’s own blood, into the skin of their face. It is a revolutionary treatment for face rejuvenation.

How it works

By stimulating the body’s own collagen production, the skin volume increases. This fills fine lines and shrinks pores. New microscopic blood vessels are also created, which increase pinkness in skin and speed healing. Patients find that their new skin is soft and more even in texture.

Benefits

Reduction of acne scars
Even skin texture
Reduction of fine lines, wrinkles and smile lines
Lessens hyper pigmentation of all forms, from post inflammatory to melasma
Decrease in appearance of pore size
Firmness and elasticity in the skin
Reduction of stretch marks
A youthful glow
Grayish, pale or uneven skin tone
Rejuvenates Aging Hands

For skin brightening and general rejuvenation, we recommend three treatments that are two months apart. If there are brown spots to lighten or scars to soften,four treatments are recommended.

How long is the treatment and what is the downtime?

Treatment takes about 1-2 hours and Recovery 1-3 Days.
The skin will be pink afterwards. You will look like you have had a good dose of sun, or just finished a run. The skin lightens significantly in a few hours, and is usually undetectable the next day. Because the vampire facial encourages new collagen growth, results are seen soon after, and in the forthcoming two months. The skin will look refreshed, rejuvenated and younger overall.

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy refers to the cutaneous and subcutaneous administration of carbon dioxide gas (CO2) for therapeutic purposes. Carboxytherapy originated at the Medical Spa of Royat, France in 1932 with the treatment of patients afflicted by peripheral arterial occlusive disease. Studies have demonstrated that carboxytherapy improves skin elasticity, improves circulation, encourages collagen repair, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and destroys localized fatty deposits. Carbon dioxide is a natural constituent of our very being. We breathe in oxygen, and we exhale carbon dioxide. Plants take up the carbon dioxide, and in turn give us the oxygen that we need. There are no known risks associated with carboxytherapy.

Carbon dioxide is present in our bodies at all times. We breathe in oxygen, and we exhale carbon dioxide. Plants take up the carbon dioxide, and in turn give us the oxygen that we need.

How it works
Carbon Dioxide also happens to be the signal for poor blood circulation in the body. All cells in the body, regardless of their job (heart cells, brain cells, skin cells) release as their waste product carbon dioxide.

Carbon dioxide is the “cost of doing business” of any cell in our bodies. So, we breathe in oxygen to our lungs, the red blood cells pick up the oxygen in our lungs and carry it to our tissues until they encounter an area that has been working hard and has an excess of carbon dioxide.

When the blood cells are exposed to high concentrations of carbon dioxide, they flip their conformation, release the oxygen molecules, and pick up the carbon dioxide so that we can exhale it from our lungs.

In a sense, by injecting small amounts of carbon dioxide gas just below the surface of the skin, we are tricking it into increasing the blood circulation to that area. Dark under-eye circles, cellulite, and stretch marks have all been shown to have some root cause in poor blood circulation.

Carboxytherapy is a medical procedure using small injections of medical grade carbon dioxide gas, in controlled amounts, below the skin’s surface via a specially designed machine. As the gas is infused a brief feeling of discomfort may be felt, so numbing cream is applied to the treatment area an hour before treatment.

Benefits
Carboxytherapy can be used for the treatment of both dermatological and aesthetic issues:

  • dark circles under the eyes;
  • cutaneous elasticity (neck, decollete, facial oval, inner thighs, arms;
  • localised adiposities;
  • adipose alterations;
  • acne and scarring;
  • stretch marks;
  • wrinkles
  • mixed and diabetic ulcers;
  • wounds;
  • psoriasis;
  • lymphedema;
  • Ryanaud’s Morb;

Typically, 4 to 6 treatments of Carboxytherapy sessions are required. Clients have a 15-60 minute session every 2 to 4 weeks. Maintenance sessions are required every 6 to 8 months to maintain results.

How long is the procedure and what is the downtime?
Following treatment, you are able to return to your normal daily lifestyle immediately, however, bathing or swimming should be avoided for the first few hours.
A single session can take between fifteen minutes and an hour.
When treating the skin any bruises are usually tiny and effectively covered with makeup, when treating for fat reduction bruising can be more apparent.

Roll back the years with micro-needling collagen induction therapy.

Micro-needling is your go-to treatment for instantly firmer, smoother skin! Known for its incredible ability to stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin, micro-needling delivers real results in overall skin rejuvenation. Not only will this leave you glowing, it can also reduce scarring, stretch marks, blackheads, open pores, fine lines, hyperpigmentation and more. Due to the speed of the device, treatments are fast, comfortable and able to target large or multiple areas at once.

How it works

The key to more radiant skin is collagen production.

Micro-needling works by using tiny needles to create small perforations, or ‘micro-channels’ in the skin. This stimulates the healing response of the deeper layers and encourages your skin to make new, collagen-rich tissue.
The micro-channels created during the treatment allow active ingredients from your skincare products to penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin to deliver even more powerful results.

Benefits

Mirconeedling may help address wrinkles, acne, scarring, pigmentation and stretch marks. It increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin. Collagen is an essential protein that helps keep the skin looking youthful, with a firm, smooth, and stretchy texture.

Optimising your results

Let’s work together to see the changes you deserve.

For truly visible results, we recommend a minimum of six treatments to continually build your collagen and elastin. Recovery time for micro-needling is minimal. Thanks to the powerful skin stimulation, expect to some redness for 24-48 hours post treatment before the healing begins and the new, glowing skin starts to reveal itself. Your skin will also be more sensitive to the sun post-treatment, so ensure you apply an SPF.

How long are Microneedling treatments and what is the downtime?

Total treatment time is 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area and there is little to no downtime. Slight redness and warmth to the skin may be experienced after your session, and dryness can be experienced a few days post-treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments required will depend on your individual requirements and this will be discussed during your initial consultation. Typically, we recommend a treatment course of 6-8 sessions, at monthly intervals.

Chemical peels
Facial peels are a rapid way to improve the skin’s texture and tone.
By removing cellular build-up and stimulating skin regeneration, our customised peels offer measurable results in the improvement of wrinkles and fine lines, sun damage, pigmentation, pore size, acne and oil production. Medi-aesthetic skin peels are especially beneficial in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, rosacea, general redness, acne, sun damage and ageing. Please note: preparation is required before some peels.

How it works
Don’t let the term ‘peel’ freak you out!
Chemical peels involve the application of a chemical solution to your skin in order to speed up the exfoliation process. They work by removing the outmost layer of dermis (skin) and accelerating your skin cell turnover. The strength of the peel determines the number of layers of skin peeled, the length of the downtime and inevitably, the final result.

Benefits
Chemical peels help to improve the appearance of pigmentation and any sun damage, acne scarring, in addition to reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pore size and an overall reduction in congested skin and breakouts.

Optimising your results
Let’s work together to see the changes you deserve.
To ensure your skin is strong enough to tolerate the treatment, you may be required to prepare using active skin care products. Your pre-peel preparation may include a combination of retinol, vitamin C, a tyrosine inhibitor and glycolic ingredients.
Three days prior to your appointment, you will need to stop the use of any cosmeceutical retinols. Topical prescription retinol will need to be ceased at least two weeks in advance.

What’s the downtime after a chemical peel?
The post peel application process can take 3 to 10 days depending on the type of peel. Within 48 hours one can expect either light flaking or more substantial sheets of skin beginning to shed.

Can I wear makeup after my peel?
After your face peel, ensure you adhere strictly to your dermal technician’s post-care recommendations and avoid heavy makeup and ingredients that can irritate your skin, such as retinol. If you must apply makeup, use a mineral powder that won’t clog your pores, and make sure your makeup applicators are clean and bacteria-free.

The treatment can be performed exclusively or can be added on to other treatments we offer to maximize skin benefits.

What Iis O2 to Derm?
O2 to Derm, also known as Oxygen Glass Facial or Oxygen Dome Therapy, is a hyperbaric anion oxygen system. The revolutionary system turns natural air into pure oxygen of up to 92% and delivers it through the dome-shaped mask in a hyperbaric-like chamber. It generates the amount of anion ( negative anion) by 3 million more than natural production. Anions are vitamins from the air, similar to what you get in a deep forest. They induce and stabilize free radicals which in turn regenerate new cells, reduce bacteria, rebalance PH levels, improve signs of aging, correct and heal damaged cells.

Effects of oxygen
Oxygen is an essential element for our ability to breathe and our body to function optimally. It is also essential to regenerate damaged cells and decompose lactic acid. O2 to Derm produces up to 92% pure oxygen, making skin respiration better, rejuvenating the skin, and achieving anti-aging results. It improves the skin’s ability to reproduce collagen to improve signs of aging. It eliminates ROS aka Reactive Oxygen Species, which is a primary source of skin aging.

Effects of Anions
Anions are “vitamins from air”. Anions improve respiration, cell activity, and wellbeing. Anions have the ability to reduce reactive oxygen species, revitalize cells, improve our circulatory system, and improve the body’s response to healing. Reactive Oxygen Species is a number of reactive molecules and free radicals derive from oxygen. Too much ROS can cause cell death. A sufficient amount of ROS can help cells grow.

Free radicals are atoms or molecules that have lost one or more electrons. This causes chain reactions to gain electrons to destabilize. Causes of free radicals could be air pollution, radiation, smoking, burnt food, extreme stress, and sun exposure.

Benefits of oxygen dome therapy

  • Regenerate broken/damaged skin cells
  •  Boost immunity
  • Improves trouble skin problems like acne
  • Rejuvenates tired skin
  • Cuts downtime in half for procedures such as Plasma Pen, Microneedling, fractional laser, post-peel, or virtually any treatment that requires downtime
  •  The oxygen helps amplify the efficiency of any approved products used under the dome, making products more active and penetrate deeper into the skin
  •  The only device on the market that can be easily incorporated into many facial procedures
  • In conjunction with medical-grade products, it improves tone, texture and will instantly leave a lasting healthy glow
  •  It improves the overall appearance of the skin giving skin a healthy glow and youthful appearance
     Improves overall wellbeing

NOTE: This is not intended to cure any medical condition. We suggest following the advice of your doctor before receiving oxygen therapy.

Skin condition

  • Wound Healing and Repair: Wound injuries damage the body’s blood vessels, which release fluid that leaks into the tissues and causes swelling. This swelling deprives the damaged cells of oxygen, and tissue starts to die. O2toderm reduces swelling while flooding the tissues with oxygen. The elevated pressure in the chamber increases the amount of oxygen in the blood. O2 aims to break the cycle of swelling and oxygen starvation.
  • Acne: Oxygen works as an antibacterial and antimicrobial. It has been shown to have detoxification effects and suppresses inflammation, working beautifully as maintenance in between regularly scheduled facials, or while incorporated in acne facial.
  • Fine Lines and Aging Skin: Oxygen enhances the regeneration of tissue and blood vessels thus increasing circulation in the skin and encouraging the production of new collagen
  • Dry and Dehydrated Skin: The process consists of using hyperbaric oxygen to penetrate the skin, in order to stimulate hyaluronic acid production. Your skin will emerge deeply hydrated, balanced, and glowing with health and vitality
  • Hyper-Pigmentation: Oxygen helps in fighting off and preventing unwanted chemicals from being absorbed and stopping harmful UV rays via the production of melanin (which is where your pigment arises). O2toderm also encourages cell turnover so that in conjunction with enhanced actives will leave skin looking lighter and brighter

Contraindications
Oxygen dome therapy is not for anyone who has:
 any type of lung disease

  • a collapsed lung
  •  a cold or a fever
  • had recent ear surgery or injury
  • any medical condition that prevents from them receiving oxygen dome therapy

How often can I receive Oxygen dome therapy?
You can choose to come in once a week for a stand-alone oxygen dome therapy for a maximum of 30 minutes each time. Or you can choose to have an oxygen glass facial once a month.Improvement noticed with each session

New to SKIN TRUTH -Procell Rejuvenation Therapy – What is Microchanneling?
What is Microchanneling?It’s Microneedling Evolved! Procell Microchanneling is collagen stimulation by micro channel delivery of peptides, growth factors & cytokines. Micro-filaments are gently applied to create thousands of stimulating micro channels in your skin. The best thing is that it rejuvenates with little to no recovery time, produces both corrective and anti-aging benefits.

ProCell Microchanneling and Stem Cell Therapy was developed in America by a Licensed Aesthetician and a Board Certified Dermatologist. It provides skin rejuvenation that you see (a favorite from Hollywood to New York)

Microchanneling improves the appearance of aging skin, increases the vitality of your skin, and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne & acne scarring. This process induces new collagen, reducing the signs of aging by stimulating your stem cells. In the past, micro needling created damage to the skin in order to trigger tissue repair. It stimulates a more effective rejuvenation with less damage to skin. It creates invisible micro-channels and stimulates specialized stem cells in your skin helping rejuvenate the structure of your skin.

Chemical peels and laster treatments produce improvement by a mild, controlled injury to the skin in order to cause a healing response for rejuvenation. They have a place in skin care. However, micro channeling is unique in the it stimulates the wound healing response with new collagen production with little actual damage to the skin. It produces maximum stimulation with minimal inflammation.

Recovery time is near zero while maximizing results.
After treatment, there may be a day or so of mild redness. This usually can be covered with a quality mineral makeup within 90 minutes of treatment, so there isn’t any evidence that you’ve had “something done”. Visible improvement of the skin, whether it be aging, acne, or other skin conditions can be noticed after only one treatment.
A series of 6 or more ProCell treatments (about once a month) can dramatically improve your skin’s firmness, smoothness, elasticity, hydration, sensitivity, and tone.

LED light therapy is a skin treatment that doesn’t use ultraviolet light. Instead, it uses skin-safe, low-level light in different wavelengths and colors. These include:
* Amber
* Blue
* Red
* Green

Sometimes different LED lights are combined with a photosensitive drug called 5-aminolevulinic acid. This medicine is applied to the skin and used in combination with the LED light. While this might make your skin more sensitive to light, it helps the treatment — also called photodynamic therapy — work better.
While LED light therapy is typically done in a dermatologist’s office, several LED light facial devices are available for at-home use. These include:
* Light facial masks
* Light wands for targeted spot treatment
* Ultrasonic devices
* Mesotherapy electroporation devices
* Professional LED light machines
These lights are used for lots of different skin conditions. Receiving light therapy from your doctor is a promising skin treatment, but at-home devices require more research. It’s not entirely clear, for example, whether home light masks work or have lasting effects.

Benefits of LED Light Therapy
LED lights have been available since the 1960s, but have only been used in the past few years to treat the skin. Different wavelengths enter the skin at different depths, making this therapy useful to treat a variety of skin conditions, including:‌
Acne. Blue light is often used to treat acne. Studies show that blue light can kill the bacteria responsible for acne. It can also ease how much your oil glands make. This stops the hair follicle from becoming clogged and causing acne.
Red light is also typically used in combination with blue light to help ease inflammation and redness.‌
Aging. Red light stimulates skin cells called fibroblasts. These help make collagen, which are important parts of skin recovery. Some studies have found that red LED light therapy tightens skin, reduces wrinkles and fine lines, and makes skin smoother and softer. ‌
Photodynamic therapy with 5-aminolevulinic acid and LED light also ease fine lines and makes the skin softer.

Wound healing. Red LED light stimulates collagen, which is important for healing wounds. People who have had surgery for skin resurfacing have also had red LED light therapy after the procedure. Studies have found that this form of light therapy lowers redness, swelling, and bruising, and speeds up the healing process.
Hair loss. Red LED light therapy can help stimulate hair growth for those with male- or female-pattern hair loss.
Psoriasis. Red and near-infrared LED light therapy can help lower redness and inflammation in psoriasis. One study showed that these light therapies also lowered psoriasis pimples and plaques, or red, itchy, scaly sores.‌
Skin cancers. Photodynamic therapy has been performed using both red and green LED lights to treat skin cancers. After the medication is applied to the skin, red and green lights have been used to treat Bowen’s disease and red light has been used to treat basal cell carcinoma lesions.

LED light facials might be a better choice compared to other options, like lasers, because they generally have fewer side effects. They can cause mild reactions though, including:

* Redness
* Swelling
* Itching
* Dryness

Dermalinfusion-Silk Peel
This treatment is more than a facial. Unlike traditional wet facial treatments that use chemical exfoliation to treat the skin’s surface, the Dermalinfusion resurfaces skin using a recessed diamond-tip wand that deeply cleans and rejuvenates with no discomfort and no downtime.

Diamond Glow offers three benefits in one simple step. First, the treatment exfoliates to uncover fresh skin cells just below the skin’s surface. Then, it extracts impurities, cleansing deeply and removing debris from pores. As it cleans and exfoliates, the treatment also infuses the skin with nourishment from our Pro-Infusion Serums, chosen based on each patient’s individual needs.

A Dermalinfusion treatment will volumize your skin by up to 70% with a healthy, glowing look that lasts for 3-4 weeks.

How It Works
Dermalinfusion is a 3-in-1 treatment designed to:

  •  exfoliate your skin
  • clear away debris like dirt and dead skin cells
  • infuse your skin with a serum that’s customized to your needs

The treatment uses a diamond-tipped or disposable vortex-tipped wand to exfoliate your skin. The diamond-tipped wand is about the size of a pen; the disposable vortex tip uses a patented technology for exfoliation.
The coarseness of the wand’s tip can be adjusted to suit your skin type. It can be made gentle enough to cover parts of your face that can’t be treated with microdermabrasion such as your lips and around your eyes.
The wand also includes a vacuum that sucks up debris at the same time that it infuses your skin with serum. The type of serum used depends on the goal of your treatment. The serum can be designed for a variety of conditions, like:

  •  hyperpigmentation
  •  telangiectasia
  • acne
  • eczema
  • sun damage
  • dry skin
  • rosacea
  •  fine lines

Benefits of Dermalinfusion
Dermalinfusion has several advantages over traditional microdermabrasion treatment, which is also an exfoliation-based process.
Because the wand is adjustable, the Dermalinfusion treatment can be used on people with skin conditions like acne, rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis. The treatment can also be used on sensitive parts of your skin, such as around your eyes and on your lips.

Precare:
Stop using retinol and AHAs 3-5 days before treatment
You may not have Botox for two weeks prior to the Dermalinfusion treatment

Aftercare:
Avoid retinols and AHAs for 3-5 days post treatment
